Friends of The Trail
Our next scheduled meeting has been changed to April 10, 2008, instead of the 3rd. Further details TBA.
Also we had contact with Andy Howard, where he states:
The Lawton Metropolitan Area Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan is nearing completion. The efforts of Lawton citizens (including member of the Friends of the Trail), city staff and consultants has resulted in a plan that recommends the construction of 77 miles of on-street bike facilities and 24 miles of multi-use trails. The combined 101 miles of facilities will allow for cross-town travel in Lawton and provide access to Ft. Sill and the Wildlife Refuge. This plan and a strategy for implementation will be available for your review and comments at the next meeting of the Friends of the Trail.
