All the maps will load, except the 11.3 mile ride.

  2. pauldurryon 07 May 2012 at 9:27 am 2

    Hello Mr. Thompson,
I went the Map tab on the site and clicked the 11.6 mile link and it loaded fine. Please try again, and let me know the results.

Just for all you last minute decision makers ( like myself ) this ride is probably the most scenic and has some of the smoothest surfaces you will every ride on. Not to mention very liitle traffic to deal with. Don’t miss this ride……
Weather is going to be good, so load up and enjoy.

    Thanks
    Mark

I did the 53 mi. bike ride today with friends. Really enjoyed the ride! I only have one suggestion. Please don’t take food away at the end of the ride until everyone has finished. Thanks!

Have you thought of adding an Ultramarathon run to the event, there are several of us locally that run 50 miles at events and would love to lag behind the group.

  9. Ryan Annesson 29 May 2013 at 7:09 pm 9

Where do we go to sign up for the event?

  10. pauldurryon 30 May 2013 at 9:47 am 10

    Hello Ryan,
You may sign up/register fr the event right here on the site. Just go to the Registration tab at the top of the page. There you can register via the site by downloading the form or click the Bikereg icon and register there!

  11. pauldurryon 30 May 2013 at 9:58 am 11

    Darrin,

Jean and myself have thought about expanding the event. We had thought about having a walk or run associated with the ride. However, none of this is possible for this event. We moved the event onto Ft Sill, with the idea and hopes of growing in the future. If you have any spare time please stop by the office, and we can discuss the possibilities. Jean and myself are located at RE/MAX Professionals, 1701 NW Cache Rd here in Lawton, (580) 353-7496..

Do you have the maps uploaded for the 2013 ride? The links I’ve found are for last year’s ride.

    Thank you,

    Jeremy

  13. pauldurryon 03 Jun 2013 at 11:32 am 13

    Good morning Jeremy,
As soon as I get them back from our guy on the routes committee, I will upload them to the site!!

  14. Terryaokon 07 Jun 2013 at 7:20 pm 14

The incorrect month is posted on this website.

  15. Paton 08 Jun 2013 at 8:12 pm 15

What time will the course close? That will affect the distance I decide to ride — I’m slow!

  16. pauldurryon 10 Jun 2013 at 1:40 pm 16

    Pat,

What ride did you have in mind? For the longest ride we are looking at about 1:00pm, but it could be longer. However, be assured we will not close until all riders are in and accounted for!

  17. pauldurryon 10 Jun 2013 at 1:41 pm 17

    Where in particular?

  18. Carolynon 24 May 2014 at 10:56 pm 18

Do you need any volunteers for the event? If so, please let me know. Thank you.

  19. pauldurryon 26 May 2014 at 1:53 pm 19

Yes, we can always use more volunteers. Thank you for asking.

  20. vivajeton 18 Jun 2014 at 9:05 am 20

Can I register the day of the event?

  21. pauldurryon 18 Jun 2014 at 9:56 am 21

Yes, you may register the morning of the ride, however if you register now the cost is only $25.00. Registration/check-in starts at 7:00 AM at the Ft Sill Polo Field/Clubhouse on June 28,2014. Hopefully we will see you there!!!

Looking forward to this- had a question- do we have to start at 8am? how late can we start- we have young children to drop off before we get there. Also how long will the course be open and supported? What kind of food/refreshments can we expect at the finish? Thanks!!

  23. Sharon Bennetton 24 Jun 2014 at 11:11 am 23

    Hello, looking forward to this.
Wondering if we can start after 8am? Like 8:30am or so? how long is the course open? Also, what type of refreshments can we expect at the end?

    Thanks!!

  24. pauldurryon 24 Jun 2014 at 11:41 am 24

Good morning Mrs. Bennett, The official start is at 8:00 AM for the event, with registration ending just prior to the start. Are you already registered? If so what ride routes/lengths have you chosen. For the routes that go off the reservation, the gate (Hwy 115) Twin Gates will close around 9:30 AM. Food and refreshments will consist of hamburgers with the usual sides, soft drinks, water, etc.

  25. Carolynon 24 Jun 2014 at 11:44 am 25

Hi again, I would like to volunteer or help in any way to support this bike race. My boyfriend is going to ride the 50 M, so I will be there cheering him on. If you need anything, please contact me. Thanks!

  26. pauldurryon 24 Jun 2014 at 12:00 pm 26

We deeply appreciate your willingness to volunteer, simply just report to the registration area anytime before 6:45 AM. The Event day registration/packet pickup starts at 7:00 and ends hopefully just prior to the 8:00 AM start!!
    See you there…THANKS!!

  27. Sharon Bennetton 24 Jun 2014 at 1:32 pm 27

Thanks for the reply, and sorry about the double post. We are doing the 32 mile ride, so we will be on Post the whole ride. Yes we have already registered. Thanks for the info!

  28. angelaon 27 Jun 2014 at 9:24 am 28

How much is it to register the morning of? Just heard about this event today and if there are still openings my husband and I would like to register to ride tomorrow.

    Thanks!

  29. pauldurryon 27 Jun 2014 at 9:50 am 29

  30. Tyon 28 Jun 2014 at 8:09 pm 30

Great ride! Everything was organized and everyone had a great time! I was dumb and ordered the wrong size of shirt, but they were more than happy to replace it. The ride was nice and smooth and the organizers definitely know what they’re doing!

  31. pauldurryon 30 Jun 2014 at 5:11 pm 31

Thank you for your participation, hopefully we will see you next year!!

PS: Tell all your friends about it!!

  32. pauldurryon 30 Jun 2014 at 5:14 pm 32

    Thank you!

  33. Greg Rosson 17 Feb 2015 at 11:39 am 33

My friend and I did the 50 mile ride in 2014. It was beautiful landscape and we enjoyed it immensely, but on the later leg of the ride on two separate occasions dogs chased us. It’s amazing how fast we pedaled at that point! I haven’t had that on any other rides I’ve done in the past at other events. Otherwise an excellent ride!

  34. Tracyon 06 Apr 2015 at 4:45 pm 34

I am trying to register for the 2015 ride, but bikereg.com is forcing me to pick sizes for 2 Tshirts and charging me $20. Can you take a look? Thanks!

  35. pauldurryon 09 Apr 2015 at 4:39 pm 35

    I will check it!

  36. John Espenon 26 Apr 2015 at 3:06 pm 36

Thought I would be abler to ride it this years but it is the same day as the miles4smiles ride at the Baptist Childerns home in OKC may be next year.

  37. Tracyon 14 May 2015 at 1:00 pm 37

Are there any maps that show the 50m route?

  38. pauldurryon 14 May 2015 at 1:55 pm 38

Tracy, The maps are now posted to the website. We are trying to use the same routes/distances as we did in 2013 and 2014.

  39. markon 15 Jun 2015 at 3:14 pm 39

Do you have to go by Ft Sill Visitor control center and get visitor access pass before going to polo field or can you turn in pass application at gate to polo field?

  40. Jonon 24 Jun 2015 at 2:54 pm 40

Great ride, Paul! Thanks to all the support personnel and the folks at Fort Sill! I’ll be back!

  41. Billy Kingon 28 Jan 2016 at 1:37 pm 41
